Tokyo Belle epoque College of Beauty Beautician Practical Training Department held a dual practical training discussion session for 1st year students on July 7 of this year.

 

In the Beautician Practical Training Department, students work toward obtaining a beautician license while acquiring on-the-job experience and earning an income through an educational curriculum with dual practical training at its core.

 

The goals for the discussion session were threefold: to increase student motivation toward dual practical training; to give students the opportunity to learn about the characteristics of salons; and to help students decide where to participate in practical training.

 

Industry professionals from 19 salons came to speak with 33 students on the day of the discussion session. Among the salons represented were Cadre, Gul Gul, Baletta, FRIENDS, terafeel, TRUTH, DAY BY DAY, JJ will, Hair Dressing Zele, eNcroute, SEES HAIR, EARTH, CONTENTS, Neolive, OWL, mod’s hair, Matsumoto Heitaro, IGREK PARIS, and Advance. Among the participating salons were also graduates and students currently participating in dual practical training.

 

The discussion session gave the 1st year students in the Beautician Practical Training Department the chance to listen to the representatives from each salon and develop more enthusiasm for dual practical training.

 

Practical training is scheduled to begin in September. Each and every student will be able to build up valuable experience in the industry where he or she aspires to pursue a career as beauty professionals.
