The Jikei Group of Colleges and the Osaka Prefectural Board of Education Sign Partnership Agreement

The Jikei Group of Colleges and the Osaka Prefectural Board of Education concluded a partnership agreement for the Jikei Group to deliver specially tailored classes on professional education to high schools. The agreement was formally signed by Jikei Group Chairperson Kunihiko Ukifune and Osaka Prefecture School Superintendent Masahiro Mukai at a ceremony held at the Osaka Prefecture Government House in Osaka City’s Chuo Ward on December 21. This marks the first time the Osaka Prefectural Board of Education has entered into an educational partnership arrangement with professional training colleges.

 

The Osaka Prefectural Board of Education took notice of the many high school students taking part in job fair seminars conducted as part of the Jikei Group of Colleges’ efforts to contribute to society as well as the professional education prepared in collaboration with various industries which students can put to use immediately and decided to breathe new life into high school education and enter into a partnership arrangement with professional training colleges for the first time.

 

Under the partnership agreement signed by Chairperson Ukifune and School Superintendent Mukai, the Jikei Group of Colleges would 1) provide various learning opportunities to students, 2) promote mutual exchange and training opportunities between Osaka Prefectural school faculty members and Jikei Group faculty members, and 3) other matters which both parties recognize as necessary.
