Duce Mix Kitchen Grand Opening

Duce Mix, a Jikei Group corporation, will open the Duce Mix Kitchen on October 11 in Fukushima Ward in Osaka City. The Duce Mix Kitchen will be a bakery, bistro, and cafe which will take over the renovated building that previously housed the Osaka College of Culinary Arts. Sample breads and pastries from the bakery went on sale ahead of the grand opening in the ground floor foyer of the Jikei Dai 1 building on September 9.

The Duce Mix Kitchen has been reborn with a bakery on the first floor, a bistro and cafe on the second floor, and a rental space on the third floor. The bakery sells approximately 80 types of bread, including regular breads, muffins, and bagels. On this day, the manager and the head baker were selling 8 varieties of freshly baked bread and pastries just before lunch. Altogether, approximately 400 baked goods were on sale.

After trying the bread, one employee remarked that it was "light and fluffy and tasted very good." Additionally, the Jikei staff members who came to the sampler event said with enthusiasm that everyone "worked together to create a wonderful shop that everyone will enjoy."

The Duce Mix Kitchen will open in the Noda district, close to the Hanshin Railways Hanshin Noda Station, surrounded by business and shopping areas, where business people and students intermingle from morning until late at night.

The Duce Mix Kitchen will host a pre-opening event from 16:00 to 22:00 on October 10 the day before the grand opening. Please drop by if you have the chance.
