Sri Lanka Bombings: No Reports of Injuries or Deaths of Family Members of International Students

 

Numerous people including Japanese nationals were killed or wounded in the bombings which occurred in the cities of Colombo, Negombo, and Batticaloa on April 21. We at the Jikei Group of Colleges would like to offer our prayers for the many people who lost their lives and extend our condolences to their families while expressing our heartfelt sympathy to the people wounded in the attacks.

 

As of noon on April 22, we have received no reports of injuries or deaths of the family members of the international students from Sri Lanka pursuing studies at the Jikei Group of Colleges.

2019 Hualien Earthquake: No Reports of Injuries or Deaths of Family Members of International Students

 

A magnitude 6.1 earthquake struck Taiwan on April 18, leaving 17 people injured, one seriously. The epicenter of the earthquake was at Hualien Country in eastern Taiwan. We at the Jikei Group of Colleges would like to express our heartfelt sympathy to the people injured in the earthquake.

 

As of noon on April 22, we have received no reports of injuries of the family members of the international students from Taiwan pursuing studies at the schools in the Jikei Group of Colleges.
